How far Plans?

A lot happened today with different people preparing for tomorrow.  Some were just unlooking because for them tomorrow will be just another Sunday, same old same old. Long atm queues in anticipation  for tomorrow,  Disappointments with our various fashion designers "I  told you red lace na wine your ear hear' , disappointments with restaurants, hotels, caterers, bakers  and many others. Today the markets were busy too; Lagos island , yaba everyone wants to look glam for tomorrow.

As we celebrate tomorrow  make sure you love yourself first and take it easy whatever whatever case...

First of all the notion about 'all boys are the same' should be scrapped its not true. There are still sweet guys out there who make their girlfriends happy and in different ways. For the nagging girlfriends if he makes you happy quit nagging asap.
Expressing yourself through text messages or lets say chats is the in thing now and few guys have the time to send consistent messages daily no matter how busy they are and these kind of guys should be acknowledged because truth be told a huge percent of guys can be jerks. It is such a  sweet feeling to feel loved and be loved. Valentines day is fast approaching has he been in formation all through the relationship? Is it time for the big question to pop out?

Fashion Friday -Palazzo Pants

        Yaaaaaaas Thank God Its Friday.
on fashion Friday I will be talking about palazzo pants. Recently I realised palazzos look good on slim girls too ..
Note: I am not a fashion expert hence I would just say the little I know. Palazzo pants come in different prints, patterns and styles. They come in different kinds of materials too like cotton, chiffon and so on. Palazzo pants bring out this tall, slim, classy look. It is a must have and I for one plan to have a lot of palazzo pants because it makes me look taller. Palazzo pants go well with sleeveless tops or tank tops and even crop tops.

Pre-Valentine Advice ........

                          Valentines Day is fast approaching and a lot of us are thinking of what to get bae/boo/sugar/darling as a perfect valentines gift. Some of us are even planning a huge proposal . Some will surprise bae with a long expected pregnancy, job promotion  etc. But have we stopped to discuss about certain things disturbing us in our various relationships before valentines day like communication issues, lack of attention, the time factor and so on. Almost all if not all relationships have communication issues. Some of us find it hard to express ourselves and we just shun  things that we do not like in the relationship. Another thing is if bae keeps forming busy or  is just the busy type make the first move who says there is harm in doing that? It only helps to build the relationship.
                   Relationships are quit tough truth be told but its left for us to keep pushing. Continue to make bae happy and stay and stick with bae for the right reasons. As you plan for the perfect valentines gift tell or write a note to bae saying what you want him/her to do or change in the relationship.

My Few Days Working for Melting Moments

Melting Moments is a company that specializes in desserts for different events. The C.E.O Miss Tolu Samaiye  and Miss Anna gave me the great opportunity of working as an Event/ Business Development Manager. I loved my job and I always looked forward to the following day. Even with factors like distance and having to drop my son early in the Day Care so as to be punctual. Working hours (8am-5pm) and on weekends where I had to manage events. Our head office was at Magodo. We were all like family ( Miss Tolu, Miss Anna, Ayobami, Kelvin, Moyo, Destiny, Lola, Oluchi, Miss Patricia and Dexter hehehe Miss Tolu's pet such an adorable creature ) I was so scared of Dexter though he was so playful.
               There is really not much to say but I miss my Melting Moments family so much and I miss the black forest cup cakes too hehehehe.
I still work as a volunteer for MeltingMoments. Yaaaaas I said they are family hehehe

My Silverbird Vj Auditions

I really have this love for the media, entertainment and fashion. I really had no plans to try the Vj search because of different reasons like I'm a very shy person and I told myself since its an Instagram thing that may have to do with getting people to like your video and I thought of how the whole process can be very tiring hence I laid back. My friend, Omotola ended up giving me ginger that I should give it a try which I did.
         The auditions were on January 8th and  I was so excited because Toke Makinwa was going to be one of the judges I admire her a lot. But unfortunately she did not make it for the auditions. We were over 150 and I met a lot of funny, cool, exciting, interesting, and great people. I met Aramide so cool headed and we just clicked immediately.
           Before the auditions started we were asked to tweet and hashtag silverbirdvjsearch and a few of us got gifts like movie tickets and even consat decoders. I won two movie tickets which Aramide and I used to watch ''The Witch Hunter'' which I did not really enjoy . Thereafter Aramide and I joined the other contestants. There was a group of about 5 guys and one babe who were arguing about Reekado and LilKesh. I joined in the argument and made it clear that I was not a fan of either but I kept insisting that I noticed that Reekado had many fans on Instagram 'Reekaddicts' . They all had different arguments like Lil Kesh has been dropping hit songs, his songs are played in almost all parties and stuff ......... Some felt that something just went wrong and so on...  After the whole Reekado argument I was nicknamed reekaddict. lol well I found myself supporting Reekado alone. And since then I actually turned to a Reekaddict.
Fast forward to the auditions after we all finished the top ten were picked and there was rhis set of guys who kept saying every audition was a hit from protea hotel to oriental and now silverbird galleria and so on. They were so excited to hear the top tenand unfortunately none of them made it.
 Aramide and I did not make  top 10 either and ofcourse we had to take it in good faith (lol) life goes on although I was so sure of myself at a point I did not allow it spoil my shine we all have our time to shine and probably that was not for me. ..........................
